It is one of the most important challenges of our time; saving energy. Allowing the customer to optimally enjoy a soothing steam bath, but only allowing the steam bath to function when necessary. To achieve this, Cleopatra has developed a number of saving options. With the Cleopatra Standby and pre-heat function (pre-heating) you save on energy costs, without having to make concessions to the comfort and quality of the steam process.
Press for steam : standby control which keeps the steam generator at temperature and produces steam immediately after activation by the end user.
Ultrasteam : a supplement to the press for steam if the steam image (thick clouds of steam) has to be achieved in a very short time.
Climate control: regenerating heat by blowing warm and fresh air into the cabin below. This process ensures an even distribution of temperature in the cabin.
Steam generator with a capacity of 11.4 kW runs 16 hours per day – 7 days per week. Total kW per year = 11.4 x 16 x 7 x 52 = 66,393 kWh (x 55% average consumption after start-up (Figure 1-B) = 36,516 kWh
With Cleopatra savings system (figure 2-B): Max consumption 66,393 kWh x 30% = 19,918 kWh
Difference: 36,516 -/- 19,918 = 16,598 kWh (in this example this is a saving of 45%)
Savings of course depend on a number of factors: number of users, duration of the steam session, power of the generator. The calculation is for illustration purposes only.
