The Cool Down Room is a prefabricated cabins with excellent insulation values, easy to assemble and simple to use. The high insulation values also ensure optimal energy consumption.
The front of the cabin is sealed with double insulating glass; the back of the cabin features an image of your choice. By adding a comfort bench, from the same material as the Spa furniture products, one can relax while the cold does its work.
The dry cold efficiently cools the entire body and offers a gentler, more pleasant experience than exposure to cold water or ice. Although the time spent in a plunge pool is necessarily short, the longer period of exposure to cold that a Cool Down Room provides allows the heart rate to return to its normal rate in a slow and more controlled manner.
The intensity of the cold can be increased or decreased to meet individual needs, soft snow for example can be gently massaged into the skin to enhance the cold feeling. By adding a Snow Shower or an Ice Wall.
The dry cold in the Cool Down Room efficiently and gently cools the entire body: the airways, lungs, organs and brain cells can cool slowly at -10°C, while our largest organ, the skin, is cooled over its entire surface without any damage to the tissue. There is something uniquely pleasant about cooling in the cold air: invigorating freshness abounds, and the body and mind relax and regenerate.
The ideal temperature for a Cool Down Room is at -10 degrees Celsius.
This cycle can be repeated several times.
Soft dry snow enters the cabin through the roof at an ambient temperature of - 10 degrees Celsius. The snow remains, allowing snow to be used for additional skin cooling.
An Ice Wall is literally a wall of ice in a Cool Down room; this wall can be used to cool the cabin temperature down to -10 Celcius. The Ice Wall is integrated into the cabin in the photo on the left.
