Before you begin, download the manual for the Backwall from our website. The manual contains all the important installation instructions. Always read the safety instructions before you begin. The Backwall is available in two versions: the Backwall Steam and the Backwall Steam and Shower. You’ll need a water connection for installation. For the Backwall Steam, a cold water connection is sufficient. For the Backwall Steam & Shower, you’ll need both cold and hot water. Always install a circuit breaker downstream of the power supply. This ensures safe operation. Always check the power rating of the Backwall. This exploded view shows the Backwall’s construction. You can tile directly over the Backwall’s finishing surface. Use the frame’s legs to level it. Then secure the frame to the wall with several screws. Install the sensors in the wall at 180 cm above the floor. Slide the frame over the tiles in the Backwall. Secure the frame with the adjusting nuts. Make sure to apply sufficient sealant between the tiles and the frame to prevent water from seeping behind the frame. Install the steam inlet, secure it with two screws, and seal around it with sealant. Now place the cover plate into the Backwall frame. Secure it using the included strips. The strips act as a trim. Finally, place the glass panel on the frame and secure it with the included decorative screws. At the top of the frame, you’ll find the opening for refilling the fragrance. You’re now ready to test the Backwall.
