Directly exposing the steam inlet in a steam cabin is not a good idea—it’s asking for trouble. Shielding the steam inlet with a glass panel is therefore not only smart, but actually necessary.

Preventing Sunburn
The steam coming out of the generator can be extremely hot. Direct contact can cause severe burns. A glass plate acts as a physical barrier, preventing users from accidentally coming into contact with the hot steam.

Even distribution of steam
When the steam is directed toward a glass panel, it is first “broken up” and dispersed. As a result, the steam enters the cabin in a less concentrated form, and the temperature is distributed more evenly. This significantly increases comfort.

In a damp and often slippery environment such as a steam cabin, there is a greater chance that someone will slip or accidentally bump into parts. A shielded steam inlet reduces the risk of direct contact with hot parts.
